About
My name is Martin Pace, and I am a 21 year old student at the McCoy College of Business, Texas State University living in San Marcos, TX.

I am majoring in Finance, a subject which I am very passionate about. I acknowledge that Finance is a challenging and pressuring field of study, and I intend to direct my career in Finance toward areas I believe will produce positive change for our world.

I also possess strong interests in Economics, Technology, Computer Science, and Music.

This website has been sitting on the back burner for quite a while now as I've become extremely busy with my education. I used to show a wealth of digital graphics I had created, but I don't currently have a portfolio that I care to share, and I've lost a lot of my older works to some mind-numbing harddrive failures.

When asked about my career goals and interests, I always tell people that I'd like to do something in international finance and investments, such as foreign exchange and currencies. Alternatively, I think capital budgeting may appeal to my tastes as well. I don't like to narrow my scope, though. Business degrees and certifications are versatile in nature, and I really feel like I could do a multitude of things - so I intend to try things until I settle on something I'm truly comfortable with. I also think that it would be awesome to work at the United Nations some day. I think that the UN has more potential than people often credit it with. Although I've studied about the UN, I'm still unsure of how one goes about pursuing a representative position there. So far it seems like most are politicians or diplomats, and I think I would like to offer an economic and financial spin in offering suggestions to fellow member nations and help get the world in sync.

It is my intent to emigrate from the United States to New Zealand in about 5 or so years from now. It may take more or less time than that, and I will plan to visit several times over the next few years. I do hope to live there though, as it is an amazing country that should offer a very unique and great experience.
